Level 3 Re-Accredited Status by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges & Universities (PAASCU).

OBJECTIVES

To develop a Christian Filipina who is discerning, reflective, and responsive to the economic, political, spiritual, and socio-cultural challenges that she encounters in her life; and who is becoming a living witness to the kingdom values of truth, freedom, love, justice, and peace-through the inspiration of the most Holy Trinity and the lives of Mother Mary, Saint Theresa of Avila, Mother Marie Louise De Meester and other valiant women-to fulfill God’s dream for all.

To view and understand the heritage of the past in the light of the present events and to identify one’s specific role as women leaders in the Filipino journey towards speculating the future and actualizing a transformed world community which is truly human, just, free, peaceful, and true.

To enhance communicative competencies and literary appreciation of the students in order for them to express what is alive, meaningful, and true as response to the challenges brought about by media in the modern world.

To provide venues for the enhancement of scientific knowledge and the development of skills, values, and attitudes to promote a culture of peace, and to preserve and conserve the earth’s resources.

To enhance the mathematical comprehension, appreciation, learning, and skills for accurate, analytical, and logical thinking towards a greater capacity to make generalizations and    applications relevant to social issues; and to be responsive to the rapid change in technology.

To provide an intensive learning and skills in home economics, management, and computer programming to mold the students into women disciples with desirable attitudes and habits, with personal and social values, and who discriminately keep abreast with the latest technology so that they become transformed leaders-living meaningfully living, loving, and growing in their family, in the community, and in the world at large.

 

 

To provide the students with opportunities and venues in recognizing the elements of music to further enhance their capacity to understand, appreciate, perform, and reproduce music of every kind and of different cultures.

To enhance poise and integral well-being of individuals and groups through various creative and youth development training activities.

To encourage active, meaningful, and committed participation in community-oriented projects and activities in local, national, and global issues.

To provide proper guidance and counseling towards self-identity, clarification of values, development of positive attitudes and habits for self-directed and properly motivated options in life.

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS & WORKSHOPS

  • THE STUDENT BODY ASSOCIATION – All high school students are members of the Student Body Association. The objective of the association is to develop in the students the art of self-government, guided democratic leadership participation in the promotion of student welfare, consideration for the common good, and respect for the rights of others.
  • THE STUDENT COUNCIL – The Student Council is composed of the nine major officers, i.e. the President, the internal Vice President, the External Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer, the Auditor, and the two Press Relations Officers; and the Class Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, and Assistant Treasurers. The Council is presided by the SBA President, Vice President, or any major as the need arises. The SBA Moderator acts as Adviser to the Council leaders of the existing organization may be invited to attend some Council Meetings.
  • THE DANCE TROUPE – serve as an avenue for creative interaction and proper appreciation of talents among the students.
  • THE GLEE CLUB – seeks to discover and develop the talent/skill of the students in singing, conducting, playing musical instruments and expose them to other forms of art – this, aiding them to become well-rounded individuals.
  • ASSOCIATION OF THE CHILDREN OF MARY IMMACULATE – aims to develop in the members a deeper understanding of the role of Mary in the salvific mission of Christ and as a WOMAN-model of faith.
  • LADIES OF THE ALTAR – envisions the members to be led to that full, conscious and active participation in liturgical celebrations as altar servers to practice Christian values acquired by virtue of their baptism.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1.1 Old Students – Report Card (Form 138)
1.2 New Students – Birth and Baptismal Certificates
– 2 – 1×1” pictures
– Report Card (Form 138) duly signed
– Letter of Recommendation from the Principal/Guidance Counselor of previous school
– Entrance examination on the date scheduled
– Interview by the Principal and/or the Guidance Counselor

Additional requirements for:
a. Transferees

A student who seeks admission after the enrollment period i.e., two (2) weeks after classes have started, must present her Form 138 or its equivalent and a certificate of eligibility to transfer from the school last attended.

b. Aliens

– Four (4) photo static copies of ACR certified as true copies by an official of the Department of Education Culture and Sports
– For non-resident aliens, permit to study
– Transcript of Records

Note: A student should use whatever name that appears on the birth certificate.
2. Entrance Qualifications

– Good moral character and conduct
– Average mental ability
